Jake & Sherri Wavra
Sherri is my younger sister who is now working for David Douglas school District in Portland, OR as a fifth grade teacher. She married Jake Wavra September, 30th 2006.

Donnie & Claire Carpenter
The Carpenters took over our position as Curriculum Coordinators in the young Marrieds Sunday School class. They moved to Oregon so Claire could finish her school program at OSU, but they are true Texans at heart.

Joe & Myra Long
Serving along side the Longs in our Young Marrieds Sunday School class made us greatly appreciate our friendship. They bought a house a few months ahead of us and stayed a few steps ahead of us in fixing it up, but now they are leaps and bounds ahead. They toiled and labored to create a beautiful house for themselves.

Mark & Joani Curtis
We met Mark and Joani in our Young Married Sunday School class. Joani’s quilting inspiration gave Carri the training and confidence to quilt some minor works so far.

Paul & Sheila Gunderson
Paul was a classmate of Jeremy’s at New Tribes Bible Institute. Since Sheila is from Eugene, OR we were able to see them a few times after Bible school while they were waiting to go on with the New Tribes training. They are now in their second year of missions and language training in Missouri, but we get to see them on their breaks back to Oregon. They have a baby boy who is nine weeks older than our baby.

Todd & Jennifer McClelland
We met Todd and Jen while going to Northwest Hills Community Church as apart of our Young Marrieds Sunday School class. They gave birth to a baby boy, Ethan 6 before our baby was born and so we have been gleaning words of wisdom as they trailblaze a new path into parenthood.
