About Us

We met at a Bible camp on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge and were able to spend oodles of time talking about our past and what we wanted from our futures. Since we found we held many of the same values we decided to marry and were wed five months later. Marriage brought a new joy into our lives we would not have otherwise known. We are now able to know the blessing of children in our lives and the new fulfillment they will bring to our family.

I was born and raised in Tillamook on the Oregon Coast. After high school I headed off to Purdue intending to become an astronaut. I grew up as an atheist, however upon closer inspection of the facts about reality, history, and the message of the Bible I was convinced that my presuppositions about God needed closer evaluation. It’s a bit of a story but I changed my mind about God. Much could be written and (some has) about my . After getting married I took a break from my engineering education at Purdue and attended New Tribes Bible Institute in Michigan. After graduating from NTBI in 2005 my wife and I moved back to Oregon to finish our degrees at Oregon State University. I received my B.S. in Civil engineering in the Spring of 2007 and started working at a local bridge and highway firm, Quincy Engineering Inc, where I am currently at. Our long term plans are to be involved in ministry overseas.

I was born in New Jersey, but grew up in the Great Northwest. Portland, Oregon is where I spent most of my school years. After graduating from high school I went on a missions trip to Thailand where I decided I wanted to become a missionary. A solid education in the Bible and human cultures I believed imperative to reaching others in remote areas with the Good News of Jesus Christ’s payment for man’s sins. [To know more about God’s influence in my life read my story.] I went to New Tribes Bible Institute for two years where I received an A.A. in Biblical Studies. I am finishing my last class for my B.S. degree in Anthropology through OSU. Jeremy and I are pregnant with our first baby and have moved into our first home just recently.
