Here are pictures of the quilts made for our baby. First of all a big thank you to: Natalie Morse, Joani Curtis, Mary-Frances Kenny, Beulah Crall, Sarah Sowell, and Melissa Frey who made the big quilt on the top left.

Joani Curtis headed up the task and finished the binding and hired someone to quilt it. If you look closely you can see a quilted elephant in the picture down below. The bottom picture also shows the back side of the quilt, which is full of colorful jungle animals (the theme for the baby’s room). The top right picture is a play mat I made from the left over material from the big quilt. This was my first full quilting project that I sewed from start to finish. I hand quilted some big squares on the mat, which I am proud of. It was quite an accomplishment for me. Hopefully, someday, I will finish the not so perfect advent calender I started last year and start on a big quilt for our bed.
